One exceptional closing day to remember: Friday, July 26. Apart from this day, the Jardin des Plantes (Garden of Plants), its galleries and the Ménagerie (zoo) are open all summer long, including public holidays!

As throughout the year, the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution, the Galerie de Paléontologie et d'Anatomie comparée, the Grandes Serres (greenhouses) and the Galerie de Géologie et de Minéralogie are closed on Tuesdays.

From July 18 to 28, access to the Jardin des Plantes is only via the entrances on rue Buffon, rue Geoffroy-Saint-Hilaire and rue Cuvier. The Place Valhubert entrance is closed.

Visit the Parc zoologique de Paris in the 12th arrondissement

The Parc zoologique de Paris (zoo) will be exceptionally closed on Wednesday July 24 and Saturday July 27.

For the rest of the summer, our teams welcome you every day, including on public holidays, from 9.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. (opening hours valid until August 31).

Sunday, July 14: please note that some transport services may be affected by the day's events, and parking may be difficult nearby the zoo.

And don't miss our special evenings from 7 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. every Thursday until July 25!

Visit the Musée de l'Homme in the 16th arrondissement

The Musée de l'Homme will be closed on Sunday July 14, and from Saturday July 20 to Tuesday August 13, 2024.

Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19: visitors are required to obtain a digital 'Games Pass' following the activation of the security perimeter (gray zone) for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. This step should be anticipated as soon as possible.

As throughout the year, the Musée de l'Homme is closed on Tuesdays.

This summer, entrance tickets to our visiting sites are gradually going on sale. Check our online ticket office regularly for your reservations.
